Research indicates that supervisors can spend up to forty percent of their work week managing employee conflict. Knowing how to help employees manage and resolve their conflicts can mean the difference between festering conflict that puts the department at risk, and everyone being able to focus well on their job responsibilities. This highly interactive workshop is designed to give supervisors a basic grasp of mediation skills and process that can be put to use immediately back on site. Supervisors will leave the workshop knowing and having practiced:
- When to intervene and when to stay out of the conversation
- A mediation framework to help you keep the conversation on track
- Key skills every mediating manager needs in their toolbox
